Besides the deep irony of you staying up late to put in a bid that late, thereby making yourself stay up 2 minutes longer than necessary to make sure you got the guy, in general browser games clocks are never spot on. I'm not sure what clock BB runs on, but I'd recommend time.gov if bidding close to the deadline is that critical. Not sure it will be exactly on BB time because it would never matter to me to be that precise, but it is dead on in other browser games I've played where doing something in the exact right second is absolutely critical.
