I agree and don't forget to vote everyone. Remember voter apathy can lead to poor results.

Thanks mllama and brilliant work over the last four seasons, you have created an enduring legacy.

A question for our candidates. How will you deal with superpower teams like China?

The next coach should now realize if they continue with the 2 term tradition then they will be in for 4 seasons.
The 18 year olds drafted this season will be the 21 year olds in your last season.

You can completely reshape the team into any mould you want, any hints to what team we are looking at? Post on offsite forum?

I feel like I'm talking to myself here, as the other candidate is like a ghost.

I will answer all questions here.

The major threats to us in the Asia division are China and the Philippines, as well as up and comers in Taiwan and Hong Kong. China and the Philippines and big man heavy, and play look inside almost exclusively, as they ALWAYS have the advantage in that department. Taiwan and HK tend to be balanced teams, so we can match up evenly with them. The only way to seriously combat China and the Philippines is to ensure our big man can hold their own. A few seasons ago (4-6) to be exact, we had a bumper crop of big men, the majority of which made it to the NT. The last few seasons I think the draft hasn't been too kind to our active training managers so the talent has been a bit thin, also the focus on secondaries has made our primaries a bit weaker, with triple wondrous running around against triple prodigious + of the heavyweights. I hope to ensure that we have a good balance of both, but at center I'd ideally like a salary beast, whilst at PF I'd prefer a bit of versatility. I think it's hard to combat nations with farm teams, so it's unlikely we could ever really take them head on, but with some good luck and fantastic training/draftees, we could do it.

In regards to skills, it really depends. In international competition, everybody needs to be able to defend and score, it's that simple. A non scoring player is pretty much useless. There's no preferred skill, it really depends on the position and player, but the guards need the standard JR/JS/OD/PA, whilst the forwards and bigs need the standard ID/RB/IS/SB.

I know what I'm looking for in each position, similar to my young guys as they were maturing, and I hope to help train similar players for the U21 NT and future NT players in a similar mould.

Experience isn't that prominent or obvious at U21 level, most are pitful through to inept in the U21.

Jone Bogan's manager was very silly. Don't know why he reacted the way he did. I'll still play him, I'm the coach, I decide what's best for the team. Unless he's ruining game shape of course..

If I was to create an ideal team, it would consist of many combo guards, I love passing and to have PG's with high passing and SG's who can play PG make the world of difference when mixing up tactics. SF's are rarely mature by this stage but I'm looking for ID/OD and JS/JR combos.

I like PF's with JS/JR/PA as high secondaries, and at least 13/13/13 in primaries, and I'm looking for bigs with 14/14/14 at least by the age of 21 to combat the heavyweights.

Hopefully this answers most of the questions.

My team was getting old and I needed to refocus on some young trainees, I think it worked out well and I can use the training blueprint and my success as a way to motivate up and coming managers to train their prospects instead of selling them.

hey iwen good luck and here are my questions

have you gone through all the leagues and identified the players from this years draft who can be stars in the future?

have you thought about who will be your staff this season? mllama had about 10 guys working for him - was that a success or a problem? which of those guys will you have back again and who wont you have? you and aussie dude were mllamas two main assistants who will be yours?

what will be your strategy and criteria for saving players from botting?

who is going to win the nba championship and why (shows a wide knowledge of basketball and any answer other than chicago means i will be voting for fanny)?

I've done quite a bit of "face value" scouting so far, but without the ability to call up players and see their skills I need to wait for managers to get back to me. If elected, this process becomes a lot easier and I can have a pretty big database of all potential players.

In regards to staffing, I wanted yodabig to be my assistant, but he's going for India U21, so he's crossed off the list. I have a few other people in mind, but I won't be contacting the until after the election. I don't mind having 10 mentors helping with training, but I'm looking for more control of the quality of players we're outputting. Less opinions is sometimes more, and I have a solid idea of the kind of team I want by the time the 2nd term comes around (if I'm elected then re-elected). I will still have "scouts" looking around, but like I said, I'd like greater control of training of future prospects, so I'm willing to sift through 50 bb-mails everyday if I have to. But those decisions I haven't really decided on yet, those guys who are currently helping I am happy to keep on board and they can continue mentoring their existing players, but new 18 year olds, I will look after them and groom them.

I will be leaving spots open in the U21 roster, I may start with 12-14 players in the first team, and leave room for late-bloomers or bot players. I will only save the very best, ie. Superstar above potential with a good balance of skills. Everything really depends. Hopefully some Aussie managers have some cash saved..

Lakers. They're playing like crap, but they're still the best team. Chicago are good, no doubt, only cause of Rose. They should have lost the first 2 games, especially if the Pacers were healthy. They got extremely lucky. But sometimes you need luck. Based purely on matchups, nobody can beat the Lakers. Whether they play to their level though...

So Lakers v Chicago in the finals! Lakers to win, Rose to get Finals MVP even though the team loses. (Cause he carries them, and Boozer is invisible in playoffs)

I strongly disagree on this point but i will still vote for you anyway. I will not hijack the discussion with my reasons here but i reckon you're way off.

I think this is highly relevant to Iwens ability to run our team (and if it isn't Dire will tell me off and delete it) but Iwens inability to recognise the contributions of Noah, Deng and Bogans in creating one of the best defences in the NBA amazes me. I can understand him ignoring Boozer but he is also an intregal part of the offence if the team is to advance far.

This lack of judgement causes me to consider voting for Fanny, for a microsecond, then stick with the best man for the job, Iwen.

Iwen if I vote for you, what can you do for me and my new found rookie?
He said he wants to represent the U21 when he is 21, can you make that happen for him?

If so, you have my vote..

p.s OKC versus Miami finals. Durant to win his first ring and finals MVP award.
