You can only train 1 skill per week. You cannot train OD and IS, for example. You can only train either OD or IS.

No, cup games do not count for your record, only your league games do. You pay player salaries and staff on the financial update every monday morning. But if you win your cup games, you earn money, for example your first cup win is $50,000 and it goes higher after every cup win.

cup games don't count towards your record. However, Cup games, as well as scrimmages, allow you to get training minutes for your players.

Player salaries are paid each Monday morning.

yes if you have sam win-lose record than place is decided by point difference, and if point difference is same by points scored.

I know everyone is trying to be nice but, they are most likely wasting their time. If he doesn't invest 15 minutes to read the game manual, chances are that he won't sustain his team.

A lot of guys are really helpful on the forums, but if you keep asking the basic questions and wasting their time, because you didn't want to invest yours into game manual, that's really not ok. You also have this thread that's very helpful:

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thread=144856&m=1

If you have any more questions after reading both that and game manual, we will be more than happy to help you.
