for sure, but two top teams from both red and blue conference will still face each other and a lot can change. Actually when it comes to playoff enthusiasm, I think our side has more disadvantage, mostly because Keyes and Pszczyna are so close and there is no way someone can play playoff normal and be sure of a win. I think Cerebreal has more chance of gettin gthrough playoffs with better enthusiasm. I think much more can be said about it after tuesday's games.

Here's how I see II.3 (if others have an opinion, would love to hear it)

BryantFTW is focused on promoting this season and have homecourt advantage secured but unfortunately for them, they are in the toughest conference in D2. They have arguably the best team in div2, but are still doing some last minute readjustments to prepare for the playoffs, it'll be interesting to see if they pay off. In their conference, there are a couple tough opponents in ORR (who have very effective salary efficient players that they've trained), and Molson Canadians (being a BB, is managed by a vet manager who knows what he's doing) as well as Luxury Tax and Sock Pants (who have had to fight tooth and nail with Toronto Springs and Crushers to avoid the relegation series). In the playoffs, BryantFTW will have to be careful not to do what they've done in the past and overlook their competition in their quest to the finals, although putting too much into the quarters and semis can give the other opponent an opportunity to win in the finals.
Unfortunately for BryantFTW, there are also 2 teams in the Great 8 capable of promoting this season. There is my team, brotherhood123, who in my opinion is a better team than what I had last season when I put up a 10-12 record in Naismith and who won the regular season head to head with BryantFTW. Then there's sg united, who has a monster in Tommy Germain, but imo, would either need to add 1 or 2 pieces before the end of the regular season or catch a few breaks in order to promote. But with 1 game to decide the outcome, and injuries a very real part of the game, it will make the playoffs very interesting to watch to see who can manage their team to promotion.

I feel i can make it to the 5th or 6th spot depending on the last 3 games, Luxury Tax has 3 very tough games coming up, and i have 3 very winnable games. We will see how this all shakes down in the end.

I totally disagree - UTE has a great record because he plays in a super weak conference - he has a good team but not the best. If you are looking for the best it'll be the St Louis Beasts - Granted the league we are in is weak but da beasts are the best of the lot. And yes - the rest of us suck.

II.3 is by far the toughest and deepest of the D2 divisions and that is clearly the tougher of the 2 conferences in that league, so there really isn't much argument on this one.

I figure 5 of the top 8-10 teams in all of D2 play in II.3, I'm just glad I don't reside in it.

The discrepancy between the conferences is pretty huge too, Big 8 is substantially better than Great 8 in II.3 this season.

Your next game may decide it for you, but it's tough to expect your opponent to win 0 and go 3-0. If I were you, I may just accept going into the relegation series and save up enthusiasm. I think you'd beat whoever you face, so you'd get some extra income out of it too.

Your team was the class of Div II.2 last season - no question, hands down - you were going to win. But this year the issue is not as clear cut as when you were kicking butt down here. Yes - UTE did make some decent pickups - but I still like da Beasts.
