I have always trained players. Three of my five starters are players I have trained (front court) and some of my bench are players I have trained. I now need to make some money form doing it.

Yes there is the cost of training
but there is another side to training that reduces the cost
the player you have is always under-valued
the better a trained player gets, obviously the better he performs
but his salary doesn't go up until after the season
so you might end up with a $10,000 player playing like a $30,000 player
one you won't have to buy at playoff time
you'll already have him
