Yes. In other news. J.R. Smith is back with the knicks, Iggy goes to GS, Monta Ellis might be coming to denver.

I would assume so. First of all, they told Dwight that they would pursue J-Smoove. Secondly, it would almost impossible for Howard and Asik to play on the floor together offensively because the Rockets like to emphasize spacing the floor with shooters. Unfortunately neither Howard or Asik can shoot outside of ten feet away from the basket which could be a disaster when it comes to spacing. Adding Josh Smith would give the Rockets a forward who can score on the perimeter and in the paint and is a very versatile defender. They would probably swap Lin and Asik to get Smith and as long as they can find a serviceable point guard, it would be very smart for the Rockets to get Josh Smith.

1stly... Irving whom is injury prone would need to stay healthy. 2ndly mike brown is not a very good coach.
And 3rdly did you really say Josh Smith can't play defense?

1. A lot of Irving's injuries were simply unlucky, or because of something silly (like slapping the padding and somehow breaking his hand). He does seem a bit injury prone but I have a feeling he will stay pretty healthy next year, especially since they have a ton of solid guards now meaning he doesn't have to carry the team's load as much (They signed Jarret Jack which should help a lot).
2. I don't think you know Mike Brown well enough to assess accurately how good of a coach he is, but I suppose we can all have our opinions. I think the main reason for bringing him back was not because of his amazing coaching skills but because the Cavs want to land LeBron James once he is a free agent and he had/has a very good relationship with Mike Brown. LeBron James opinion of Coach Brown is that he is a very good coach and I feel like he would know the best out of everyone.
3. I agree with you 100% on this. It certainly raised my eyebrows too. Josh Smith is a wonderful defender. I might even go as far as say that his defense is on par with his offense (which is pretty darn good).

Wait, the Cavs want to sign LeBron? That's gonna be awkward if it happens...
