woooooooolph baby..i thought u r a smart guy

i see ur overall thoughts that nippon could easy have a huge userbase cause of the mentality but that has nothing to do with banner adds...banner adds r based on ur personal surf behaviour

for example..u see lots of mmo banner adds and open a thread on buzzerbeater cause u ( or anyone who use ur ip ) r on such websites

a japanese user who is interested in sports and browsergames probably will see a buzzerbeater add ( and if he fellow the link and didnt speak one single word english he probably r able to change the language on the startpage in searching the nippon flag --- or is geography a problem as well for japanese poeple :p )

bottom line: if u wanna change something u must find a other hill, that hill is mounted ;)

Cheerio

I have to agree with Will Freeman.....The Banners are all about personal surfing habits. Since you are already signed up for Buzzerbeater, you would never see a Buzzerbeater add. I have a friend and he did see the buzzerbeater add while playing Hattrick. The language also differs too. I am running an Englsh Unbuntu OS at my house and all the banners are in English but at school on their Japanese language windows OS(Oh how I hate it) all the banners are in Japanese, just like the start up page. And I think the user number being low in Japan has to do with enjoyabillty issues.

I don't know man, most people that would play this sort of game have at least a working knowledge of how to internet (is that a verb?) I had no trouble using the site on my android and if there are people that don't have smart phones (and I know they're out there) then they aren't going to be trying to access the site through their phones. Regardless I don't think it's smart to do anything but maybe look at your roster and read the forums through a phone just so accidental bids and stuff like that doesn't happen.

Hat trick probably has a better Japanese contingent because Soccer (Football) is (correct me if I'm wrong) MUCH more popular than basketball, not just in your country but in many across the globe.

I'm sure that lack of competition has something to do with it as well which is why I think it would be a good idea for them to combine all of the sub 75 countries into one mega league so that people have others to play against, not only because I don't like that a team that just started (like myself a couple months ago) can instantly have more money than I do, but because this game is pretty fun, but a lot of that fun comes from competition, which stinks because the only way you guys from all these small countries can really have competition is if you play the cup and if you get knocked out by a mega team it's pretty much just a bot game where you get to make players and sell them. I'm sure these are issues that get talked about on the non-english small country forums a lot and maybe they don't get the attention they deserve.

I don't think you guys from small countries would mind sacrificing your personal leagues in exchange for more competition and players. But to be clear I also don't think that you guys should have your NT's taken away because I think every country should be able to represent themselves that way.

Hehe, I do see the problems from their side too though, there are probably massive issues when it would come to play times for people in divisions as far as time zones is concerned in order to make things fair.
