As you know Ko fouls out almost every week and Ootsuka was really only U21 potential so right now the priority is Ed, then Ko & Ootsuka 3rd. I will see who I draft & what I can pick up for a 3rd trainee to replace Ootsuka next season. It is a hard situation as the 3 of them have very different needs.

Great information. If I am lucky enough to get hold of a big I will happily train Ed inside although at 6'1" it will be painfully slow but he has good secondaries so could maybe become a NT SF some day.

I'm rebuilding my Utopia team and would be more very happy to take on a trainable player for our NT system into that team. If you have anything come up please let me know.

Sugihara will be a defensive minded guard build and stuff...and I hope Agano will go towards a well rounded PF build...a poormans Asano I guess. I could have higher TSP though, but with lower pot. he could never reach the same primaries.... As good as TSunami was 15 of him wouldn't make an NT for us IMO. You need rebounders, devoted passers, devoted scorers and hardcore inside and outside defenders at the higher skill range that simply can't fit inside the superstar cap. We need at most 8 guys in the 130+ TSP range balanced out like Tsunami, then like even if the TSPs are only 110 120 range, capped MVP/HoF level guys for the primary/salary heavy posiitons...

IF I draft something good, I will definitely let you and SHogun know.

This is important (ball for you!). Too many people get lost in the chase of TSPs... when the reality is that at the book-end positions a player with greater specialization is going to be (in all likelihood) more effective.

Sure: we need well-rounded players. But we (at NT level) need beasts as well.

Ikeuchi will be a "well-rounded PF" (I hope). He's a 6'10" Superstar, so I'll have to be careful - but he could be useful. He's 20, but I got him when he was 19. That given, he's not doing too badly.

Agano- He is very tall so developing him as an outside SF is going to be slow. For now its find, this gives him a good base to be, I believe A PF in the future. Here is the deal-

Our U21, right now, needs quality bigs more than SFs. We need RB. I can't/wont train Sugihara's RB. IF I draft/acquire a top-end big prospect that I coudl train Agano with, that might work. Or if I draft a top-end guard I will definitely be moving Agano.

I am leaning towards trading Agano to someone who wants to make a top-quality PF for Nippon. A big F. I dont' think he has enough potential to aim for NT C duties. But as a rotation Forward for us he could be awesome. His guard stills are a great base, and with his height and age, He can have the bigs skills added as soon as someone starts training them.

I'm guessing that I'm most likely not going to get anything useful in the draft... so I'd definitely be in the market for Agano (I know you know this!).

Agreed... but I was more speaking to what we currently have.
