Hard to make conclusions based on a scrimmage, especially with my game shape being all over the place, so I can't assume this would happen in every game I used this lineup, but I don't think I'll be using LCD during the season.

My SG played 48 minutes, perhaps because his backup was a scrub. My SF played 44, his backup has terrible GS due to an injury. And my PF played 42, there's a dropoff to his backup too, but probably not as much as with the other two.

Like I said, scant evidence of anything, but its possible in a big game, where minutes don't matter and you want your best players on court as long as possible, that LCD might be the way to go.

Thanks for sharing that game info.
Thus far, I agree with your synopsis that if you want to play your best players as much as you can, LCD is the way to go.
My next test will be to play three deep at each position and see if LCD utilizes all three options when it makes sense.

Marin admitted openly that CPfDC is bugged. A GM came in and said all of the options are bugged. So there you have it, we're all working to understand how these options work because they are not working as they should, but hopefully they will be fixed at some point.

Yeah, I've avoided CPFDC since day 1. LCD could be a good option if I can figure out how to set it up so the coach picks and chooses with a bit more freedom than SFDC. It will be interesting to see how my test in tomorrow's PL game goes.

Alrighty, test #2 is underway, and it does look like LCD does not pull from the pool of reserves. Only backups.

With no evidence to the contrary I have been running LCD for several seasons.
The option was the best before they fixed the blank lineup situation....did I say fixed?
Anyway without restricting the coach in any way you give yourself the best chance to win.
I will let you know my findings too many friend because that is all I run......LCD that is.

Oh cool, then you've got a lot of experience with LCD.
Before the 'fix', didn't LCD used to use players as it saw fit in whichever position was best?
Or was that only when the blank lineup was used?

With a totally blank lineup LCD it evenly put the best realistic lineup on the court with an excellent sub pattern.....even matching up defensively. But as it stands you can't do that now . The only real difference is the minute distribution of the starters depending on the opposition.....against good teams the rotation is shorter.....against everyone else the player rotation tends to be larger.
