Normally, I would too, but the thread's directions say to direct mail and not to post on the thread :/

You should join the USA offsite: http://s3.zetaboards.com/BuzzerBeater_USA_NT/index/

Mentoring new USA players is what we do! I recommend starting a club team diary so experienced USA managers can give you advice.

First of all, I'd like to say that if you had the old team roster, you could probably not afford to pay their salaries. This is why you had to start from scratch with scrubs. One huge aspect of BB is the economy of your league and level.

Secondly, to correct @Trainerman on one point, you can find a (very) good mentor in lower leagues, at least in the USA leagues and/or some eropeans countries. You have to define first what kind of game you want to play and you'll enjoy: training or climbing the ladder as fast as you want. You will find very good mentors for training in lower leagues, for the latter you'll have to find a GE expert, and that - @trainerman was right - is rather found in someone that played successfully in higher leagues.

whish you the best

I don't know. They were pretty successful, there. I think they won as many championships as the Canucks have, after all.

+1. I'm still laughing about that one. With Bryant "big country" Reeves and Stu Jackson running the show i don't know how we won as many games as we did.

Welcome mate, and good luck in your future BB career :)

Be ready for a looong and slow paced game, and don't hesitate to ask for advice on help forums, you'll find the community to be very helpful.

Cheers

Shareef Abdur-Rahim! One of the most underrated forwards in the NBA during that time.

hi. i couldn't agree more. probably the best player ever to play for the Grizzlies and actually liked the city of Vancouver, unlike Steve Francis who didn't want to play here.

...and then had his little known stint with Portland during a stretch of their not so good days. I was excited to see him land in Rip City, as I followed Abdur-Rahim closely in BC, but things didn't go so well.
