That's really sad to see such good players to retire at the age of 29. Pretty sure many fans and reporters will be crying during the retirement announcement / tele-conference.

Rules are rules, I accept that. But, can we brain-storm some alternatives, so there would be a last chance for them to fight for survival, right? I mentioned about "buy-out clause", which even other managers didn't exactly know the players' skills, all the managers could have time to save some players and keep them alive.

Two criteria to discuss: (i) Time to bid such players; (ii) Amount for "buy-out clause".

(i) I think all the players in BOT should be applicable. (ii) $500,000 seems a fair amount to start with, and all such revenues will go to "Free Agent". Feel free to discuss.

I guess there is no reason to cry for a player not worthy of the NT. That is their last chance.

that is your tought as tanker and NT farmer, but there are toons of user who play normally, not care about NTs and have not enought decent players on transfer list to can buy (y)

Totally agree that it's all about demand and supply. And I am somewhere in the middle, so I cannot afford NT players and I am not a tanker either.

I know I cannot change BB mind this season, but I just give my 2 cents and see any minor change next season.

That's exactly right! The only users that matter are farmers and users with a NT player. Screw 98% of the users anyway!

Forgot about all the players going FA with a TSP over 60 and a salary under 60k
Okay, then it is not clear who you are crying for. Are you saying that TSP over 60 and salary under 60k makes a player NT-worthy? Your posts are ... unclear. Maybe you were just trying to be sarcastic instead of constructive? Or maybe you were just making a Devil's Advocate argument? Or just stirring the pot? What is your point anyway? (If there was one). Ahh, if you didn't have any point then just forget it.

I'm not exactly the one stirring the pot.

So
I guess there is no reason to cry for a player not worthy of the NT.
isn't stirring the pot?

By the way,
Players with a salary under 60k and a TSP over 60 are saved.
and started at 10x their salary. Very often they are not worth remotely 10x their salary. As long as BB-Marin maintains an artificial bottleneck for players going to FA he can also maintain the rotten economy we now are stuck with.

Question: Why not let any player reside in Free Agency? Why restrict them at all?

Answer: The powers in the ivory tower are maintaining the game for trainers, not for all basketball managers.
