I train about once per season. As a result, my regular team leads the league in FT% most seasons.
My Utopia team is a different story, as they are homegrown and some started off as Atrocious, but over the past five seasons, training once per season at least, they've climbed to be in the middle of the pack in my league in FT% rank.

Maybe this belongs in Help, but is the Free Throw stat the only thing that affects free throw percentage? My guy with highest FT stat is middle of the pack in terms of completion percentage.

It seems that experience and fatigue may play a role in FT shooting.
I once had a reserve player come in during the playoffs and miss four FT in a row, and he was either an 8 or 9 FT shooter, so I chalked it up to his Pitiful experience.

Also, sometimes players just inexplicably are terrible from behind the line for a season, but then recover back to normal the next season.

Train FTs a couple of weeks a season. All star week and off season week. Problem solved.

I guess this is a neverending story and I have accepted the stubbornness of the people defending absolute "0" skills by now. A person going pro should be able to do everything it takes in his profession at a certain, below "average joe" average.

As FTs are just another form of shooting, there should be some correlation. It makes no sense that a world class 3 point shooter (which usually means 35% in this game), can shoot 0% from FT for a never ending career. If we want this game to resemble a real life simulation, those anomalies should not happen.

I am training FT, which does not mean I am agreeing to your rationale.
