Hello, so i have been spending time on the forum and blogs. I now know i can't make a 6"8 point guard or a big with good handles.lol

As i was reading i was also lookin for ways to be competitive and i saw the buy and sell players idea. I went and got myself a young player but it says i will get 60% of the selling fee. Why is this? I sold before and got 96%.

Any ideas on how to be competitive in regards to my team, my financials anything at all. I see there isn't a lot of users in SA so i want to play b3 soon so i don't get bored of playing cpu

Yes i noticed he is too far ahead when i played him. Just one of his players salary can pay for my entire roaster. I'm hoping that in 2 or 3 seasons i can atleast challenge. Right now its just playing against cpu who seem to not have any competitive drive

If you make the right choices you will be able to compete sooner than you think.
When I began, there were 3 well-established teams in league 1.
With a little patience, I was ready to challenge them after 2 seasons.

A quick summary for a good start:
1- Concentrate on expanding arena and increasing attendance.
2- Invest in the draft. You may get your 1st choices because computers select at random.
3- Train at least 3 players. If you get some good young players at the beginning, train them.
4- If not, try to purchase 1 or 2 cheap players. No need for high potential. Perennial allstar is good enough to start.
5- Put money aside to buy some key players when you really need them in 1 or 2 seasons.

CaptainTeemo, if you have anything to add, please do. ;)

First off thanks for the advice, always nice to have some guidance. On the part of the arena i started on that on my very first day once i checked out the b3 winner's arena. Then i looked at yours and calculated your revenue also yesterday ☺ .

On the part of the draft i looked at it while studying the SA league its true the cpu usually doesnt pick good. I had 6 points then got 4 again this past monday. Im afraid i might have used them wrong but it's already done. I have scouted 3 players now. 2 interviewed.

They look like this: Sg 5balls potential 3balls grade A 18yr 6"7 height. The others are 19yr olds. Do you think that SG is good, should i put him on top? I plan on spending another 40k monday.

Lastly on putting money aside i was putting almost everything in the arena with the hope that the arena would give me that money for buying players. Best i save then?

The other player is a Center 19yr 6"9 grade A- , 3balls potential 5 balls rating. Competing after 1 season could be exciting
