Globo Gym Puts on a CLINIC! 31 Assists, 13 Blocks in Rout of Cardinals

Globo Gym bounced back in a huge way, blowing the doors off the visiting Fondy Cardinals with a 104-78 victory. The 18,610 home fans witnessed a masterclass in team basketball, as Globo Gym won this game while playing at a lower effort level than their opponents.

The game was won in a jaw-dropping second quarter where Globo Gym exploded for 37 points, turning a close game into a 60-35 halftime laugher.

It was a total team effort for the home squad, who dished out an incredible 31 assists on 40 made baskets. The defense was just as dominant, registering a 13-block party! C. Cutler and A. Kisos were defensive anchors, each swatting 5 shots. Kisos also added 7 assists and 8 rebounds in a fantastic all-around game.

The scoring was perfectly balanced, with five players hitting double figures:

L. Dingfu: 18 pts, 5 reb

B. Salgado: 16 pts, 4 reb

C. Debackere: 15 pts, 9 reb, 3 ast (in 48 minutes!)

F. Prestidge: 15 pts (5-7 FG)

B. Law: 14 pts, 6 reb, 5 ast

The Cardinals were simply ice-cold from the field (35.5%) and abysmal from deep (2-for-14). M. Grebičević led his team with 17 points and 6 assists, but it wasn't nearly enough.

Globo Gym evens their record at 3-3, while the Fondy Cardinals continue to slide, falling to 1-5.

Bricklayers Unleash Defensive Onslaught in 60-Point BLOWOUT!

This was a demolition. The Bonham Bricklayers, in front of their home crowd, completely dismantled the Pittsburgh Peacocks in a 114-54 rout.

The Bricklayers put on a defensive clinic, holding the Peacocks to an abysmal 24.4% from the field and forcing 21 turnovers. The home team was a fortress at the rim, racking up 13 blocks and 13 steals.

E. Berman was a monster, posting a 10-point, 16-rebound double-double while adding 4 blocks. J. Gonzáles was right there with him, grabbing 14 rebounds to go with 16 points and 3 blocks.

The offense was just as dominant, led by C. Donnelly's 27 points on 11-14 shooting and K. Al-Hamdan's 22 points and 5 steals. The Bricklayers move to 4-2, while the Peacocks fall to 2-4.

KDB Stays Perfect! Partridge's 26 Rebounds Anchor 101-77 Road Win

KDB's perfect season continues! The league leaders marched into Holliday Gym and dismantled the Broughton Capitals, 101-77, to move to a flawless 6-0.

This win was all about KDB's dominance on the glass. Center W. Partridge was an absolute monster, pulling down an incredible 26 rebounds (6 offensive!) to go with 9 points and 3 blocks. His frontcourt partner, Y. Heinke, handled the scoring, torching the Capitals for 28 points (12-20 FG), 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

Even more impressive? KDB secured this 24-point road win despite the Capitals playing at a higher effort level.

The Capitals just couldn't match KDB's size or shooting. While KDB's F. Jiafan (21 points) and W. Bangcheng (19 points in 14 minutes) added to the offensive barrage, the Capitals struggled, shooting a frigid 18.2% (4-for-22) from three-point land.

N. Burkett led the home team with 26 points and 8 rebounds in the losing effort. The Capitals fall to 1-5.

STUNNER! Kirkland's 49-Point Explosion Leads Winless Warriors Past Favorite Gunslingers!

UPSET OF THE SEASON! In the most shocking result of the year, the previously winless Woodward Avenue Warriors (0-5) defended their home court and stunned the preseason league favorite Gunslingers, 124-111. A capacity crowd of 19,999 at the M-1 Superdome witnessed their team get its first win in spectacular fashion.

The Warriors, who played at the same effort level as their highly-favored opponent, won this game with a blistering offensive display and a dominant third quarter where they outscored the Gunslingers 36-20.

The story was G. Kirkland. The Warriors' small forward was simply transcendent, erupting for a season-high 49 points (18-31 FG), 10 rebounds, and 7 assists in a legendary performance. The entire team was on fire, shooting a scorching 57.9% (11-for-19) from three-point range. M. Senghor added 17 points on 5-for-8 shooting, while Y. Diarra chipped in 15 points and 8 boards.

The high-powered Gunslingers' offense showed up, but their defense did not. M. Vasil (30 points) and T. Wirayuda (27 points, 6 assists) were fantastic, and M. Macolino notched a bizarre near triple-double with 6 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. Despite dishing out 32 assists, the Gunslingers had no answer for Kirkland and couldn't overcome the Warriors' red-hot shooting.

The Warriors get their first joyful win of the season, moving to 1-5. The stunned Gunslingers are dealt their second loss, falling to 4-2.
