I'm not saying everyone needs to know the whole code. I just would like to know: who has the knowledge about skill weights per positions and how different tactics multiply those skills with constants. There can be 10000 lines of coding in the GE, but someone with any coding exp can withdraw that info from the GE in 5 min or less (if every BB wants to or even has access to that code is a whole other question). The fact remains the old BB's must know those facts (they were just too busy with the game itself, to actually be able to use the knowledge on the TL) and sooner or later some new BB will know those facts. Now it's up to the community he is playing in, to accept his playing or not. If he makes to the BBB, those managers should also be asked for acceptance of his participation in such a tournament.
I still do not have an answer to my questions. Why is this questions answer being dragged out so long by BB's?

I think there already are replies from Marin and Ryan stating that they do not know the specifics of the game engine, and that they do not think it is necessary to remove them from the competition. It is also pretty safe to assume that Mark and Charles are in the know. While the BB's read the bug forum, you can't really expect they all read it or that they all will answer this sort of question.

Exactly. I have made my point in this thread already and will not repeat it again.

It's still an assuption. Marin and Ryan said they do not know the GE. They have answered this thread a number of times, but still can't say who then actually knows. Why is that? Now next posts Mark "I don't know GE", then posts Charles "I don't know GE". So then nobody knows? or is somebody lying?

Yes you have made your point and we can only take your word for it. We have no actual proof that you have no access to the GE code (or even if you do have access, that you have not peeked).
Just like in medicine there are rules to prevent clash of interest. The ones that prescribe the medicine can not also sell the medicine.

Actually that is a question asked over and over and the answer came ... you missed it?

The code for the game engine is extremely complex and one wrong change could break the entire thing. In case you guys haven't noticed, there are also several GE related bugs that have been around forever and have yet to be fixed. Put two and two together and maybe you'll come to the conclusion that the GE is an area in which BB-Marin doesn't have much control over. Who does? The BBs that created the code and are no longer around most of the time due to their jobs. "Now Ryan, some developer should be taught how to make changes to the GE". You don't say? I wonder why the decision was made to hire new developers? Just for fun probably.

I have always thought that bugs forum is for bugs posting. To be more useful, the minimum of offtopic discussions should be held here.

BBs spend more time for reading useless (non-bug related) messages here.
And obviously it's not the place for accusations.

The BBs that created the code and are no longer around most of the time due to their jobs.
You do understand, that not creating the code, does not equal, not knowing the code. They want to pass on the info, so they would have a full time working team for BuzzerBeater.
This is the list of BB's: BB-Anthony, BB-Charles, BB-Edju, BB-Forrest, BB-Marin, BB-Mark, BB-Patrick, BB-Raymund, BB-Ryan, BB-Tomer.
How many of those know or have/had access to the GE code? Do you have contracts signed with every BB, that disallows them to give out any info about the game code(s). If a guy goes and modifies a database for his own gain, what prevents anyone peeking at the game engine code and leaking that info to his friends/acquaintances?
A lot of the BB's are playing in a highly competitive leagues, with their teams. This case has raised a lot of "if's" about, how fair their participation is.
This is nothing personal against any of the BB's, but to be honest, there is no proof (I'm not even sure it's possible to present any), that BB's playing this game, have no privileges vs the normal user.
