i love it when this game surprises me, and tonight's results surprised me. suddenly Dunkface has got some supernatural powers where his opponents are an open book!

Thanks guys! As was the case with Eugene, I felt like my only chance to win tonight was to get 2 GDPs correct. After the first 1/3 of the season Procta pretty routinely went with the II offense and I was hoping that he'd go for it again tonight. I got very lucky, although I feel like losing Glass essentially for the rest of the season might even it back out again.

Here's hoping for an injury free series
I blame you!! :)

No but seriously, I think a season or two ago losing Glass would've just ended any chance I had at beating a quality team like HPH but the last few additions I've made have made my offense a little more balanced. I'm still better from the outside but being able to score from the inside some too (In tonight's game my starting front court made over half my FG's) has made my team a lot less reliant on Glass and those other 3 point shooters. It was just getting too easy for you guys to GDP outside/run an outside zone and shut that down.

Will be interesting to see what I can do with a very limited bench in the next game or two. Hopefully, Glass can provide inspiration from the sidelines

Oh man, you got Yazzie!!! If I still had supporter I would have been alerted to that and you would have had to out bid me. I love that guy, trained him up myself on my rise up here! It was a sad sad day when I decided to let him go in order to try and make a cup run. If you ever list him again let me know, I would love for him to die on my team.

Basically the opposite of what you're doing. Big 8 better watch out next season, you're adding some nice pieces!

My roster was rather weak this season and needed to be strengthened.

you were able to make your moves in a buyer's market -- most people don't have money before promotion, many lose interest once out of any competition -- and i noticed there was really very little bidding to drive up prices. you probably got very good players at pretty decent prices.

i haven't been paying attention to who is likely to promote, but the Big 8 is looking pretty rough for next season.
