great wins to both of you. the 2 best sides all year and deserve to be in the big one. i am surprised that crocs only had mcnamara play 13 minutes - holtz, you must have been pleased with this!!! wonder what is going on with that decision?

as for tactics, koops - i have no idea what you will do, but as for Holtz, has you ever played look inside? can't remember it ever happening, so am tipping you won't start now.

couple of nice purchases going on which is good to see?

incidentally, does anyone make use of playing their players in a different position on D? i have been doing it at times, and it seems to be quite good. also, looking forward to some of the new tactics such as outside isolation next season. adds a new dimension. all good.

i do it a lot but mainly so i can train people in funny ways

this week i am giving my guards rebounding practice so they are defending as pg/sg but playing as pf/c

but seeing as my pg/sg/sf are mostly very interchangable especially players 2-5 can all play all 3 positions about as well (or badly) as the others i often just have the best defenders match up with the opponents best scorers or make sure whoever is defending at sf is competent for that position even if they are needed at pg in offence

ok meaty is 99% likely to win but koop i do want you to win in one way, please we need someone in this conference tha i can actually compete with next season to avoid automatic 8th

Mcnamara got injured i lost Gustafson early to injury as well killed all my outside defence and inside scoring :(

you only lost by 10 points with mcnamara and gustafson out... reckon you couldve pulled it off with both of them still on the court?

My starters were on the bench the entire last qrt. If I couldn't win with McNamara only playing 13 minutes, after getting into early foul trouble and sitting out most of the 2nd qrt, then getting injured in at the srart of the 3rd I didn't deserve to win.

But when it is all said and done, maybe me losing by only 10 makes you the favourite Koops :P

yeah the score doesnt do your team justice..
your team looks extra scary on paper and in game..
10 point win is just a cruise for your bench players...

hopefully my guys can make your starters work a bit harder in 1.5 hrs time.
and no im definitely not the fav. i'll be lucky to extend this to a 3 game series.

Meteors should've won this game.. i still dunno how i pulled it off.
its gonna be a dogfight now in game two with Holtz puzzled by this defeat and will definitely bring his A game.

minor analysis:
+22 rebs (23-4 offensive rebs)
thats a lot of second chance points for Holtz...

Carrington didnt play as well as he shouldve... started off really slow but came good in the second half.
Carrington and Nemkovich combined for 10-43 shooting...
