He has decided to tank, he just needs to buy some scrubs/trainees now. He is done for a few seasons.. lost interest in the game... Will keep team alive (hopefully) and come back later if he wants.

He was going to go bot but I convinced him otherwise.

Damn, that's a real shame. As you say, hopefully he can at least keep the team alive until he decides he feels like having another crack.

Thanks mate, good spot there.

On a related note, what do the BBs actually do? There hasn't been one change to the game I can think of since I started playing again in January 2011.

Are my expectations too high? I would hope for changes to the game in that time (and not just the addition of a few stats). It seems like there hasn't been any development of the actual game in the last couple of years?

They added career stats page this year. Also added random pops (cross training) - other than that I'm not sure

The last big change I can remember was when they added the new tactics. Box and one and isolation. Problem is none of them seem to be that popular and it was a long time ago now. They have made a few economic changes in recent seasons. 5th and 8th not paying salaries, salaries going down, free agents coming back, then less free agents coming back with the $10-$20,000 minimum salaries needed, the salary floor and probably a lot of others. There was also the new scouting system which is a lot better than the old one although I still think they need to improve the median standard of the draft (not the top). So that is a lot of changes really.
