Highly doubt you'd get that much of a pop on his GS. He has two bad weeks baked in so I'd say 7 would be a victory even if you trained GS but I'd expect a 6 if I were you.

lol yeah, desperation, still most of his salary is in SB, so i wouldn't be too concerned. Realistically i've been meaning to buy a PF and an all-around guard for a while now and have just not been active enough buy anyone.

Guess I got pretty lucky, he's at 7 GS now. I'll take it.

I find myself in a posistion that I don't think I have ever been before in this game, and that is knowing that no matter what I do the rest of the season, I will be back in Div II next year. I don't want to leave a bad taste with anyone up here since I imagine most of you take this game somewhat seriously, as I do. I've always sort of dislike the idea of tanking, and there have been times in the past where I have been upset at other managers towards the end of the season for doing so. At the same time, I find that I need to train some players out of posistion to hopefully improve my team going forward.
My game strategy from this point out is going to play a training lineup for home games. I will be more than happy to tell you in advance what that lineup in going to be - it will be safe to assume though that it will involve 3 or 4 reserves and one or two starters playing out of posistion for training. For road games, you will continue to see my normal starting lineup and reserves, minus the center that I sold today. His backup role will go to Elam, the 30k a week Div III stud. My game enthusiasm will be to TIE for both home and road games. If this strategy is going to cause an unfair situation for somebody as it relates to playoff seeding at some point, please communicate it to my through the forums and e-mail so that I'm not being unfair to someone. Hopefully, I will be back up here after next season and can give some of you a more competitve matchup. It has been an eye opening experience to say the least.
I will continue to do everything I can to win cup games, the extra revenue is a nice bonus. While I don't think I can win it all, it would sure be nice to at least make the Final Four. Good luck the rest of the way everyone.

good luck. my first season (s18) here was a painful lessonl. In an effort to be competitive, I remember I even hit a payroll in excess of $1m, to no avail. My worst purchase in my time through BB was that season: a 300k center that LMA used to own - nicely, he helped me beat LMA in his first game, and then got hit with a 2 or 3 week injury after 1 minute of play in his 2nd game. Ending up firing him and wasting a lot of $$$. My second worst purchase was a $200K guard that same season, who never really played up to his skills. Point is, it's really hard to even stay in this league, as it should be, and you did a great job, playing the noble way throughout. Kudos to you, my friend!By the way, the last time was the first time I ever relegated, and word of friendly heads-up - relegation hits revenue hard! Much more than I ever expected, so hopefully you have managed to save money.
On a separate note, I fully appreciate that injuries adds the element of "fog-of-war", but at this level of competition, sometimes I wish I could have clear sky instead. I guess the fact that everyone else can be hit anytime evens the playing field, and I should take solace in that.

Down 6 at half. If you win, your next round competition should be easier, there was an upset. Here's to 2nd half adjustments.

i think he 2-3 zoned. if so, nemesio and gardner punished it in the 3rd. up 6, going to be a tense final 12 mins.
