I don't think so. I think it's mainly about building team in as easy way as possible as people are lazy to think how to do things in different way. I think it's possible to build effective team for other tactics.

I think there are already players for different tactics, but they aren't so usual as players for LI, so it is much more difficult to have roster full of these players at the moment.

Maybe I confused you using double negative which is not correct in english, by "it's not impossible" I meant "it's possible". I changed it in former message not to confuse other managers.

I understand where you're coming from, but... what's the point in playing suboptimal tactics? I think what we're seeing is convergence of player supply at the top as we're now getting closer to equilibrium (high-potential players in their thirties), so it's less feasible to play suboptimally. There was bound to be one tactics combination that is better than the rest, even if it was only fractionally better. And it seems that tactic is Look Inside / Man to Man. All the other tactics are for situations where the resources of one of the two competing teams are severely limited, as is the case in most national league play and between strongly unbalanced NTs. B3 just happens to be contested by fully developed teams.


Why not? If you have the right players they can work.


Take a look on the B3, most of the teams play inside tactics with monoskilled centers and it's just about who can afford the monoskilled player with the highest salary and play LI, only a few use multiskileld PF's or C's, far from any equilibrium.

If not take a look on Poland NT, they are winning lot of games only because of Jerzy Wisniewski.

We only win because we have very strong, well balanced players, In fourth quarter last match we play without Jerzy, and the score grows for us. But Yes he is very important for us :)
