I'd argue otherwise. And for my own sake, I hope you're wrong.

But Marin's posts back up the notion that where applicable, Conference Winners get promoted followed by Bot Promotion. If there aren't enough spaces for all of the Conference Winners, then normal Bot Promotion takes place.

Well ok, this is strange. DIII.2 had this team (276396) who neither got to the finals not had a qualifying record (he was 15-7), but went on to DII nonetheless. Most 17-5 teams did not promote. This seems counter-intuitive considering these should be the 2 rules that have been used in the past.

I don't know if the schedule is being held back because they realised something went wrong with the promotions.

Perhaps Marin or a GM can confirm to you if this is the case.

Eh, that's my league and I have a better record than that team ¿Should I promote?
I guess I am not.

This is the part where I'm always confused. First rank means the team that went on to the Finals NOT the team that finished first in the regular season. Correct?

So conference winners don't matter, gotcha.

But are there errors with who promoted to D.II? And if there are, will the leagues be corrected? I mean, I'm seeing some teams that went to D.II who had a worse point differential than I did.
