Many of the players i was tracking, particularly bigs, were going for more than expected. The supply of decent players seems to be low so maybe that's driving the prices.

Was watching this guy (13276457) only because he's arguably the best big ive seen. Figured id see if he dropped from his list price of 2.45m only to see him not only get a bid, but selll for a final price of almost 2.9m. That's significant for a 200k+ paycheck.

It could just be that it's the all-star break, and a lot of teams like to retool a bit around this time. I hope prices don't go up in general, I'm too broke to handle that. What with arena expansions consuming my bankroll, I don't really have much of a cushion.

That was a surprisingly nice haul for those two guys. Prices definitely seem to be inching up lately, but was still more than I was expecting you to get.

In other news, AZ dominates the ASG with four selections. Three for me, including the starting and backup C, and a few teams with two, including an impressive NBBA ASG debut for L&P.

Really? My guard Jesus made the team? That's a shocker.

Looks like you win the bad draw of the round.

Round 1 - Visionaries
Round 2 - King Drive Ballers
Round 3 - N/A
Round 4 - Burlington Mountain Goats (However GM-Jason hotly contests his teams status as being worthy of "tough cup draw")
Round 5 - Bullish Mentality
Round 6 - Tie? Quakers/Bullish*
Round 7 - Visionaries
Round 8 - Quakers (Because he's Away, he's @ Bruins)

*Should we count what actually happened in the game or not? Bruins, Quakers, and myself all had D2 opponents. Quakers got norm'd, I got CT'd, and Bruins opponent just tanked it. But when planning out the week, you don't know if they're gonna try or not, so you can still make the case for Bruins.

19 D2 teams remain. Potentially 17 of them will return for the next round. Add in the 10 NBBA teams that can return (either Quakers or Bruins gets KO'd). So that leaves only 5 good draws left in the Cup.

I don't think you should count what happens in the game itself. For me, good or bad cup draw is all about lineup planning for the week. It doesn't matter if you get CT'd if you win. I guess maybe there could be some retroactive stuff. If Technical Fouls CTs me and knocks me out, does that make him a worse draw than Quakers drawing Bruins? I don't think so, since one of them loses too. But it could work as a tiebreaker?
