Ok, that explained it. I was wondering why you went with a rocket.science lineup.

Bottom of the standings getting quite exciting. 3 way tie for 5-7th in Big 8 with IYF left with 2 road games against playoff teams and pappy and I play at his place next. Oh yeah, TL is still open. I expect a bit of excitement over the next week, never mind the top of the standings where everyone's still in the cup and seedings aren't finalized.

i don't envy the teams looking to avoid or survive relegation -- for myself, that is the single most nerve-wracking aspect of this game. kind of like, win or get banished. and, unlike my experience in other leagues in other years and apparently the recent history of the NBBA, all teams involved are doing their best to stick around another season. i wish you guys the best of luck and am very glad to only be observing what promises to be a street-fighting, no-holds barred brawl.

Kentucky Wildcats have 2 whole wins on the season! They're legit! You should save your GS for the playoffs and really focus on this crucial Wildcats game.

It's certainly shaping up to be that. IYF had the severe misfortune of playing a backloaded schedule. Last 4 opponents are all making the playoffs, and last two games of those are Away to non-Cup teams.

To cap it off, Dog River and Technical Fouls are doing what you said.

The Blue conference is rough this season. Feels like it's more competitive than Red. Yet, I looked at the interconference record, and there is only a slight edge to Blue. 35-29. Assuming you beat your D2 opponent, that would mean on average Blue's lasted in the Cup 2-3 rounds longer than Red conference.

This was how NBBA's other half in Utopia was managing at the 10 game mark.

Arizona Desert Storm, 9-1 and 1st in his conference, 1st overall
10 Inch Vertical, 8-2 and 2nd in his conference, 3rd overall
EDH Wolves, 8-2 and 2nd in his conference, 4th overall
Beware of Dogs, 7-3 and 3rd in his conference, 3rd overall
Bullish Mentality, 7-3 and 3rd in his conference, 6th overall
Eugene Register Guard, 6-4 and 3rd in his conference, 7th overall
Dog River Riverdogs, 6-4 and 4th in his conference, 7th overall
Kentucky Wildcats, 4-6 and 4th in his conference, 7th overall
The King and I, 1-9, 8th in his conference, 15th overall (has a big game coming up for him to possible grab the #1 overall pick)

Here's how they are at the 20 game mark.

Arizona Desert Storm, 19-1 and 1st in his conference, 1st overall (Big game against 2nd seed)
10 inch Vertical, 17-3 and 3rd in his conference, 3rd overall (Big game against 2nd seed coming up)
EDH Wolves, 16-4 and 2nd in his conference, 3rd overall (Big game against 1st seed coming up)
Beware of Dogs, 16-4 and 3rd in his conference, 3rd overall (Big games against 1st and 2nd seeds coming up)
Bullish Mentality, 15-5 and 2nd in his conference, 3rd overall
Dog River Riverdogs, 12-8 and 3rd in his conference, 6th overall
Eugene Register Guard, 12-8 and 4th in his conference, 8th overall
Kentucky Wildcats, 7-13 and 6th in his conference, 10th overall
The King and I, 2-18*, 8th in his conference, 15th overall (didn't grab the 1st draft pick spot)

Seems like a few teams have legit shots to promote. I don't, my guys keep getting injured.

in absolute terms, your poorest week is still larger than my best, but your percentage drop is twice mine.

wonder if a benefit from winning the Big Enchilada is wearing off.

My merchandise has gone to hell in a handbasket also, from $75K not that long ago to under $60K this week. BB strikes again!
