Looks like I finish top seed and will be bowing out first round of playoffs. Special thanks to Mad Rangas for playing CT in the final game to push Crockers down to 4th while my SG is still injured. No chance you'll make it passed first round either but you've pretty much screwed my chances of being competitive against Crockers (my SG may have returned by 2nd round).

Disappointing end to what was my best season in Div II yet.

You can't seriously be blaming me?

I had nothing to lose by CTing and Lordy is my rival and he was always going to TIE coz beating me wouldn't change his position at all, so i capitalised on the circumstances.
how was I to know CROCKERS was going to tank final game?
even if i did know i wouldnt have changed anything.

you had a good season, and you got unlucky with injuries but it's FAR from my fault that you're going to bow out in the first round.

Yeah i'm sure it was an innocent move by yourself but I've just come home from a 15 goal belting at footy and i'm already feeling frustrated. I'd already calculated that I could be ready for Crockers in the 2nd round and to see I've got him first up, well lets just say not what I had in mind. Especially while my starters GS are all out of whack.

Just frustrated and disappointed, hard not to think there was something more to it in my current state of mind but i'm sure I'll be fine tomorrow.

Time to start planning for next season and rebuilding for another crack at the title (seems like a really long road right now).

I don't go out of my way to screw anyone over in this game, except for Bains, but he deserves it.

Lordy is my rival and i wanted to win my last home game... simple as that.

it'll be a shorter road for you than for the likes of me. I'm not sure if i'll stay up at this point :P

Well I would feel for Slashers. Has anyone ever heard of a team finishing 7th with 11-11 and a positive for and against. I can't say I have. Now TL would be feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Vios you haven't been here as long as me trying to go up so I am going to need to pass you the tissue box.

Why didn't slashers put a lineup in? He would have gotten 25 points from Vic. I had figured he was staying in 6th...

This is very bad for him now as he CT'd the game before, which I figured he did to maintain PD over Corio...

Just thought id say good luck to all in the finals. Back luck Vios with Crockers going down to 4th but thats the way things go and even in real life sometimes matchups dont work out and 1st gets beaten by 8th. Crockers would deinftaley have to be my hot tip for promotion

Didn't get to see my last game in Div II live but looks like my guys almost fought back in the 4th quarter against Vios which would have gotten me into the relegation series (which i realistically wouldn't have had a great chance in anyway). But was expecting to go back to Div III and will hopefully be able to train up a few players and be back in Div II in no time.

Last couple of seasons i havent been seriously monitoring my team and tactics etc so the demotion isnt completely unexpected

Did you consider that maybe Ranga didn't want to finish 4th and play you? You can't seriously have a go at someone for winning!? Deliberately losing a game is one thing, but isn't the aim of playing to win as many games as possible?

If you have any beef, it should lie with Steve for losing, not Ranga for winning. We all do we what we need to do to promote though, if I thought I had a better chance at beating someone this week, instead of next week, I'd do everything in my power to get a favourable match up for my team.
