Cody Lance, also making a monster profit with Bekhaouos from the price they paid to acquire him. Belkhaouos benefitted lightly from some of the rebounding trainings intended for the real trainees, and Lance Cody is bringing in, so far, 20x what Otherland paid for him. Way to go GM.

there was 1 MVP+ potential 19 year old drafted in league V.1 by the Black&White sharpshooters, in the 3rd round with the 34th overall pick.

And the 19 year old 6'0 MVP Justin Rhoades is "best position Center"
Otherland definitely feel like they won this draft.

The question is, should Quigley be put for sale with the addition of Val Jackson...

and is Lawrence Hilton, worth throwing some 1v1 at since he has good OD and ID, to try and make into the back-up SF?
Assuming it doesn't interfere with the REAL talent getting trained.

Due to advice, and opinions of several different establish GMs, Managers, and Owners. The Otherland Champions have decided to part ways with a player that cannot be disclosed. Troy Valmont expects the revenue from said player to bring in Quite a bit.... and to aid the Champions in their overall long-term future goals, and the short-term goal of promoting to Div IV after this season.

Salas was sad to see a teammate of that caliber go, but was explained to its a business, and soon resumed his off-season workouts and shrugged it off.

Troy Valmont expressed confusion, as to why neither of the games vs the Houston Rocketeers, a playoff team last season, and the rival for the Otherland Champions, was not named a TV game... league commissioner could not be reached for comment

Also Troy Valmont rejoices as this season both the Ravenswood River rats, and the ShopWrekkers have promoted to D. IV leagues, that and alternate conference champion The RookTroopers promotion, the top 3 teams have all promoted.

Otherland was 0-1 vs RookTroopers, 0-2 vs Ravenswood, and 1-1 vs Shopwrekkers with the win coming on the VERY FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON last season. ShopWrekkers were caught unprepared for the Otherland game plan, were using a FCP, and playing with less effort than Otherland. All things considered... the win was a fluke.

Ironically, on their side of the division, the favorites this season would have to be either the Houston Rocketeers, or the Otherland Champions based off of standings last year, returning players, off-season acquisitions, and the draft.

The Great 8 looks to be an easy walkthrough for either the Shakin babies or Indy Super Saints. Texas Spurs will look to make noise over there. As do the Black&White Sharpshooters in the big 8.

How will the season unfold? will the Champions be crowned Champion?
