Reminds me of my season 22. I had like 12 injuries and started 1-6. Was afraid I was going to go bankrupt. It was terrible and I feel your pain.

2 more INJURUES!'WTH IS GOING ON!!!!

All I can say is in your shoes, at this point, I'd be firing doctors like a hospital that just found out their entire medical staff was trading drugs for sexual favors from donkeys imported from Uruguay. Heck, I'd probably fire my doctor, fire the replacement that the game automatically assigns you, hire another one, fire his ass, and then hire one more and show him your staff history so he knows what is what. Think Steinbrenner and Billy Martin.

LOL, this season...
Now a $34k SF in respectable GS scored 47 points in 32 min. Don't know why a season 4 team (1 game out of first no less) is CTing to begin with. Kind of a jag move? (though maybe this is why they spent 20+ seasons in d3 or lower?)

Well it's perfect in a season where "mr. fairplay" calfson suddenly ambushes me! Lest we forget his noble proclimation:
Just to be fair to everyone and upfront, I am going through with my stated intention of dropping out of Div II and down to Div III next season. I'll be doing everything possible to give you the advantage in games against my team, and use the new game features to your best benefit.

mmhmm...

BB question for you: (Since you're super into BB it seems)
How am I getting out-rebounded with a pretty big team rebounding rating advantage?
Random game from this season... (65823071) on the road versus the Ignacius rock Pistons I had proficient vs. their respectable, yet only got 39 rebounds. (out of around 100 chances.) Ok...

Tonight I had two full levels higher & got out-rebounded again. What's up with that? I don't remember that happening much in prior seasons. But there's been a number of games this season where I've noticed it.

Getting CT'd out of the Cup by another II team is annoying (though at least in my case, it made a lot more sense for my opponent to CT given their league position and ambitions). I think that the results of this season just prove that your roster isn't nearly deep enough and maybe it's time to stop carrying so few players and open the checkbook.

If you ask me( which you didn't) I have to say the one game you posted is because of playing a 3-2 defense. It allowed him to pull down 12 offensive rebounds. Playing man to man that may have been a little lower. Take 5 of those offensive rebounds away and you have the dame amount of rebounds.

Now, I didn't look through your other games but I'm wondering if your high rebound is either a product of overload on your starters but not you backups, or it's so spread out through even your guards that no player is actually a dominant rebounder, which then the guards are boosting your rating without much production.

The one thing about both games is that you missed a lot more shots than your opponents, which means that they should be expected to end up with more boards if all other things are equal. Of course, the Diorite game still was a little bit out of line with what you'd expect in terms of how many offensive boards you gave up. I don't know if the whole GDP thing affects rebounding too or not, but that would be one thing - and of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't totally start the "3-2 kills your rebounding" rumor for my own obvious advantage. Though now that I think about it, I think I've probably ended up more offensive boards when I run the Princeton than I should otherwise, but I would have to remember to look back to find out if those were zone games too.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting thought.
Ok, I glanced at 3 random games with M2M just now. Had the reb edge in each of them (1 to 2 levels) yet still got out-rebounded in all 3 of them! Just in general, to me... in the past it seemed like whoever had a decided rebounding edge could count on not getting out-rebounded at the very least. And more often than not, dominate the glass.

Believe it or not, I went from 2011 to spring/summer of 2013 without making moves... & still have most of my old core. So it's not like the makeup of my team changed radically. (It's still Maybelline.)

Here's something minor, but weird too. My backup C had back to back games of only 1 rebound in 19+ minutes. That's worse than I'd expect a fan to do, no exaggeration! He's not a scrub either... put up a 17.5 rating this season. Something's just off...

You can comment on my reply to smallfries too if you like.
I remember you didn't think very highly of Diorites reb ability IIRC. Anyway, never considered the GDP til you brought it up. Of the 3 random M2M games I mentioned... one I double guessed right, & one my opponent guessed right. So based on that huge sample size: I'm declaring no on GDP! Besides, it would already be reflected in the rankings? Thought that's partly why you put up a huge defensive rating with your 1-3-1.

I'd counter your 3-2 zone advantageous rumor with the game manual. Which heavily implies that it shouldn't have much of an impact. (actually, it implies zero impact).

maybe it's time to stop carrying so few players and open the checkbook.

I got confused with baseball & thought I had to get down to a 40 man roster.
