well this is the first week with transfers that i could stretch to 3 positions... i would be very reluctant to train team (unless stamina or free throw)

i would prefer to stick to 2 and would be prepared to switch to 1 position only if i do get my promised players into their respective NT and the managers insist on the fastest training only.....

A little Q from me. Does the players have hidden talent ?

If you believe me, I'd say they do have hidden factors. I had players who performed way better than players who had way better stats than the other one. I had this SG with respectable on first 6 stats. Shot 20% FG and 10% 3FG, based on 30 games with 28 min average. Then i had this SG with atrocious handling and mediocre JS, with the rest respectable, Shot 54% FG and 33% 3FG, based one 25 games.

It makes me just look at their Season average instead of their stats.

Oh sorry, wasn't sure what you meant. Don't think they have a hidden factor training-wise. As for performance i do think there is one, like i stated in the previous post.

From what I've experienced, they tend to follow the chart WFU has setup. The chart seems solid.

but the season stats are often misleading... esp as a lot of players play out of position for training purposes....

Season stats also fail to take into account the player's game shape, the type of offense played in the game, the strength of the opposing defender(s), and-- in the case of rebounds-- the type of defensive tactics used.

Either the season average are misleading or the players stats are. I still believe that the stats are, because i have 3 players who have really bad stats, but play really good overall.

I'm not certain I understand you now. What do you mean by "bad stats" in relation to "play[ing] good overall"?

Regardless, you have BB-Mail.

Maybe by stats he means skill levels. This might explain things. Here are the skills of the player on my team with the best stats:
Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: inept Handling: atrocious
Driving: pitiful Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: proficient Free Throw: mediocre

Now here are his season stats:

30 0.492 0.419 0.634 1.9 7.3 0.0 0.9 1.8 0.7 1.8 26.3 6.0 SEASON AVG
26 points, 7 boards, 0 assists (is he related to Reggie Theus?) almost 2 steals a game, leading the Thai First Divison in scoring, with a season high of 51.

His skills seem worse than his stats. Of course, he has always played the right number of minutes and ben proficient in his game form every week. So maybe keeping your guys fit and happy with the playing time is as important as skill level.

I just trained Forwards in Jump Shot for three weeks. My lame PF (atrocious OS - pitiful) and my semi-lame PF (awful - mediocre) popped after 2 weeks. Nobody else popped so I rotated to wingmen, hoping that my SF who didn't pop after three weeks will be close to popping from respectable - strong while getting my SG a start on improving. After three weeks on that, Im gonna work up from pg to PF in pressure. I'll be letting you know how it goes.
