with the replays you could just skip ahead to whatever time you want

Yes, but you cannot see what happened in between the time you skipped. There's no log. It would be ok if there was a log with a scrollbar but there isn't.

Unfortunately, the Game Viewer is one of the aspects of BB where even small changes can be extremely complicated to implement. A scrollbar for match events, for one thing, while being suggested numerous times, is not technologically feasible at this point. Hopefully this situation will change in the future.
