Seems unlikely to me, at 19 with legend potential.

Potential does nothing for training speed, unless the player has hit his skill cap.

5 weeks is not unheard of for outside d, if you are doing 2 or 3 position training. A lot of things impact training speed. For example, if the rest of his guard skills are very low and outside d is already high, it would slow training down.

Also, did he get 48 minutes at a training slot for all of those weeks?

Exactly. I reported potential together with age just to point that he can't have reached cap yet.

Likely, I don't know his skills. But I've been training guards since season two and never noticed such a slow training at that age. My luck, probably, but I do think there's something strange with this player, I hope I'm wrong.

Just checked. Yes.

this player regularly pops every 2 weeks so much that the national u21 holds him under control.
here is his skills:

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: average Handling: average
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: average

I think there is a bug problem whit him, because my other guard pops almost every weeks...
also, he get ever about 65/70 minutes a week...

Do you mean every 2 weeks in outside d? If so, I'm not surprised as his outside d was probably much lower than the rest of his skills (until now). I think you will find that his outside d training is going to slow now that it has caught up with the rest of his skills.

Also, what is his height?

There are too many variables here to say that there is a bug. As I said before, so many things affect training.

also, he get ever about 65/70 minutes a week...

Why? You only need 48 minutes at his training position to get full training. Any more is a waste.

He is 1.93 and he has taken two pops in Outside Def, 3 pops in Jump Range, 2 pops in Jump Shot and 1 pop in Passing (last season he has played as playmaker...)

You only need 48 minutes at his training position to get full training. Any more is a waste.
I know... but i have 10 players and 3 games a week...

1.93 is not exactly short... And what I said still applies. He was at a low level of outside d and now he has caught up with the rest of his skills.

How many positions are you training? That is probably the key question that affects training speed.

You only need 48 minutes at his training position to get full training. Any more is a waste.

Under a 2 position training regiment you should be training at least 5 players. Any less and you're wasting your players. And your trainees should be getting around 48 minutes at a training position (you can get them exactly 48 minutes if you set your line-up properly).

Finally, you can pick up at least 3 more players off the transfer list for $1,000. You need at least 13 players. You should be trying as much as possible to be getting all your players 50-65 minutes of playing time. Any more or less is going to hurt game shape.

I know very well all these things... but I play for winning, not for create players... however would like that my players improve as all the others!
