Yes, but your team will perform worse. I would recommend that you only use TIE if on a long-term basis, to get your enth up for the playoffs.

as soon as you start playing TIE your team will gain more enthusiasm and begin playing better and better
if you aren't in the cup you will have a 10 top enthusiasm
if you are, you can maintain it about 13 between one game and another
(always playing tie of course)
if you play Take it easy = + 30-33% of actual enthusiasm
if you play normal = you enthusiasm will increase or decrease to match the standart 5
if you play CT= - 50% of you actual enthusiasm

If I were you, I'd start using it earlier -- your next league game, for example. It's risky to play TIE on the road, but if you are the stronger team, you can afford doing so at home. Good luck.

im curious
if that's true and it really does keep going up and up, doesn't that mean that soon, even playing take it easy, you'll be playing with more enthusiasm than someone playing on normal thanks to your higher rating.

Second Team:
Black Forest Boars
TIE + enthusiasm 8 = normal + enthusiasm 5
if your enthusiasm is higher than 8, your team has an advantage against teams with an enthusiasm of 5.

Really? Is that confirmed?
To start with, it would mean that both enthusiasm and effort have an effect on the same parameters, and I wasn't even sure about that (although it makes sense, anyway).
Second, it takes just a couple of TIE games to reach enth. 8 starting from 5. Well, maybe 3, but anyway: that means that if you can afford TIEing 2 or 3 consecutive games, after that you will always have an advantage compared to a team that always plays on normal, even if you play on TIE. It sounds a little unbalanced to me.

That's not true since enthusiasm and effort doesn't affect the same things

yes you will be playing with more enthusiasm but with a diferent effort
so your team always will be worse probabilities playing TIE than playing normal but your stats will improve a little.
