(I can tell you this, though: we have a great generation of 19yos growing up, with some very cooperative managers: they might well be the biggest success of these two seasons).

The world better be ready, Willis will be.

Nice Run Coco thanks for all your hard work.

I'd love to see you back honestly. It's a bit early, but you have run the team beautifully for two seasons and I've enjoyed seeing some of the workings and contributing small bits. Bravo Coco!

In my opinion, you are BETTER at coaching your team than JuicePats. If you end up going against wozzvt again, it really should be no contest. You are the best coach in the USA, in my opinion, at setting a lineup and game tactics. Since you say that we've got a bunch of great 19-year-olds, I'm not worried about your scouting abilities, either.

As far as I'm concerned, the USA NT program is a team effort - both the NT & U21 coaches contribute to the overall success of both teams, whatever success or failures we have are shared.

We could use more discussion and debates on training strategies and plans. At the moment its too basic cut and dry with each manager doing what he/she deems best. A collaborative training approach designed so that when these players come together as a team their skills suit the needs of the team would be great.

I think anyone that's managed the NT/U21's would love for it to be this level. Unfortunately it's very difficult to achieve. Some managers don't even reply to emails, and it's hard enough to convince everyone not to overplay their players and ruin their game shape let alone follow a particular training path.

As for discussion of tactics, personally I became uncomfortable laying out particular game plans on any forum. It's too easy for that information to get out to the opponent. It also seemed not worth the effort communicating so much information to the US community when, for the most part, very few people seemed to be interested in following the NT's.

That would be great, but a lot of users aren't willing to go along with the collective if it's going to completely wonk their team.
