Ahh... I've been doing the right then. it's a fluke tho. I've been stocking up PGs with high passing skill.

Since you've answered very clearly and I do understand it, i'd like to change the topic a bit. I've been using old PG with high inside scoring & high outside defense as my SF but the max rating i get is 6.5. I want to strengthen up my SF position, what sort of skill should i look for?

if you are playing against a weak inside defense, slowing down the offense will decrease your field goal percentage because of the last second shots..

i will sign that

if you think that you will be able to score %30-35 of the inside shots you will try, go for Low Post so it can take your field goal percentage up to %40-45..

because of the point above i go for fast tactics against stronger defenses, because usually you struggle with the time which decreases your shooting percentages.

you also have to be careful about passing and handling when playing Low Post because as you keep the offense longer, the possibility of a turnover will increase..

not any more, today it is easier to hold the ball with slow tactics, but a good flow is important for slow tactics because you need to find better to looks before your player will finish the attack.

Are you saying you choose fast tactics against weaker AND stronger defense?

i normally go for fast tactics thats right, but if i play slow then against weak defenses because against strong defences i shot yshot last second shots, and my flow isn't really bad.

I think he meant the opposite,
L.P -> Weak Inside Defense.
L.I -> Stronger Inside Defense.

Which I am now confused.

Are you guys saying that the shot clock is a factor of ur shot accuracy?

I notice with L.I used against tough inside defense, my players dont force their way in like L.P, but they just take shots from outside.

yes let explain it like that:

- at the beginn of the offense, your player have the target to get a good shot, and start with a optimistic approach(lets take 60%)

- if the attack goes longer this value decreasing, because it becomes unlikely that you still get that shot

- when the clock runs down they throw the ball onto the basket no matter what shot it is

With slower pace the starting percentages is higher, which will also depend on the sucess of past shot and the experienced from the player(experience should help the player to guess the percentage of the shot)

Crazye eye and moutlinho seem to have opposite opinions regarding this. Personally I'm still having trouble figuring out whether LI or LP works better for me and against which kind of teams. So I'm following this thread with interest.
