When training stamina and free throws for all the team, how often do the skills pop? Every week?

Also, is it good to have 12 players in the team or slightly more/less?

I prefer 15, but after this season, I will switch to 12. 10 is also very popular.

For my team, I find that 13 players works best. In general, I like to have:

3 guys for 1 position (example: SF)
5 guys for 2 other positions (example: PG/SG)
5 guys for the remaining 2 positions (example: PF/C)

Note: 3 guys normally only play in scrimmages; this includes one trainee, and 2 minute filling scrubs.

You can have success with different roster sizes as well, but I find that 13 players is the ideal size for me. With 13 players, I find it easiest to manage minutes for game shape purposes, which is very important.

During the season, 13 is a good number to have when you have 2 league games and a scrimmage. I usually carry 12-14 depending on the time of the season. Right now I have 12, and I hope to add one player through the draft or TL. So I will start the season with 14 players. Once I get bumped from the cup, I will trim it down to 13, and then sell a player near the end of the season to get to 12 again.

That cycle seems to work good. One thing to consider is what to do when an injury hits. With 13 players, when a player goes down, you can still manage the minutes with 12. Personally, I find it hard to maintain good GS when there are only 11 players and 3 games.

Just my 2 cents.
