so in ghana we had a large number of applicants, but nobody actually voted in the election. So we had a randomly chosen manager from the candidates chosen as manager, and the election results are shown as just the one person winning with zero votes... this is what will happen when there are candidates but no votes.

Thank you for the clarification. That makes sense. Sad to see there wasn't any turnout.

EDIT: I see there is now a coach for the Sr. National Ghana team.

You can literally go right to the source, but I don't believe it's random. Lowest user id is the tiebreaker, I thought. Seems consistent with the result here.

Well, in that case, I object to how it is determined. I think that speaking the same language as the country you coach is a big deal. Now, I have no idea if the Ghana U-21 manager speaks English or not, but many of the candidates clearly used an internet translator that made them incoherent.

I think there should be a re-vote with better advertising as to how to vote and what voting is all about. In my first season, I had no idea about the national teams; in Ghana and Senegal, you have two countries full of newbies. National team voting instructions are confusing as currently written. During election season, I think there should be a large "click here to vote in your country's election" banner on the main page.

This is what I agree with. I think it will raise number of people voting in all countries generally. In Czech rep. we had only 7% of all users voting and that is not many. And I guess it is moreless the same in all the countries in BB, isnt it?
