You're too kind. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, you know. I made a lot of stink last season about blowing up my team and starting from scratch (ala Reston Thumpers), and *BAM*, this season I have 4 all-stars and a guy in the 3pt contest for the first time in team history.

Now, if there were some magical benefit to playing in the ASG, I would raise a stink...I just chalk it up to that's the way it is.

Unfortunately, I could care less about the ASG unless there was some reason to care. However, there really is no reason to unless there is a slight merch bump from it.. which I don't know if there is. I'd love to see the devs put a benefit to having all stars on your team.

Right! And to have the players compete as they normally do, making the game real with defense and fouls. It's really kind of a joke now...

Exactly! I'm not really sure why the the games aren't run with the present game engine. Does anyone see any reason why this couldn't be done?

I thought the reason it is run in an older version of the GE was because it's arcade-mode, but then that doesn't make sense; PL games are arcade-mode, and they use the present GE.

I wouldn't mind seeing it competitive (i.e., both teams don't have 90 friggin points at halftime), and I also wouldn't mind having an MVP of the game. It would also be nice, as someone said, to have these games tie into a team's weekly merch revenue. You know, like real life.
