Are you looking to draft a player you can train, a player you can sell, or a player you can play right away? That's usually the easiest way to break down your draft.
If you're looking for a trainee (and you're training outside guys), you'd look for someone with decent skills/potential at PG/SG. If you're looking for someone to sell, you'd just go with the best skills/potential combination. If you're looking for someone you can play right away, look for a guy in one of your non-training positions who has really high skills, and don't worry about potential (though it won't guarantee you someone who'll be able to step in and play right away).
