I have no problems with Chrome. Which version are you now using? Did you try clearing your cache and cookies?

I'm not able to reproduce this. Are you still having this problem? What happens if you try to log in again after the background changes?

No, the problem seems to have solved itself. I remember the day that I had this issue I had updated an adobe plugin for chrome - maybe that was the problem.
