In the past, my team personally allows more possessions and points/possssion when I play a 2-3 Zone -vs- Push the Ball. I have not tried it since I've been revamping my interior defense. I'd play to your strengths. Before, I was more successful defending PTB with a 3-2 Zone or Man-to-Man because I had better perimeter defenders.

Look at his team & see if the Inside & Outside scoring is the same level, try to compare this to a game against Man to Man defense. If they are both even then just Man him up & trust your D & Coach to make the right decisions. If you see a drop in the Outside or Inside scoring consistently when they played against Man to Man then I would say Zone the area that is the highest. I usually look back over the previous 5 games to scout the team & see what there tendiances are. If your team is better than there's than just play Man to Man. He has to beat you, in the case, so don't help him by only taking away one area. Man to Man uses all the Defensive schemes.
