You can change the training type as much as u want but training occurs once a week on Friday. The training selected at the time of the training update on Friday is the training for that week. Scrimmage minutes also count for training. There is a few different ways u can get your players the minutes they need you have to play a round a bit till u find what works best for your team.
1. Start the player for both league games and have them rest the scrimmage. Make them have a backup player for the games they start.
2. Start 1 league game and have them as backup for the other 2 games. Have a backup for the game they start.
3. Play them 48 minutes in 1 league game and have them as backup for another game.
Theres other ways but these are just a few suggestions.
