I upgrade my doctor, then the next game I cop two injuries. Is this a "feature"?
p.s If you are going to type 'injuries are random' - don't
No, it's not a feature, injuries ARE random. ;)
How about the option of buying a player with a lesser salary if you cop an injury in the playoffs. So your player with $5000 gets injured, means you can buy one player with a salary of less than $5000 to fill in.
You were warned about the playoff purchase deadline. Also, players get injured year round, there isn't some magic shield that should protect them for playoff games.
Is there a big random element with players minutes? I have two gun players that I am training and I started them in all three games this week and they only made it to 70 minutes. Surely your 'gun' players should be playing 40 minutes when they are so much better than their substitute? If you have a big lead will the coach spread the minutes more and play substitutes?
The different coaching options will distribute your minutes differently. Let Coach Decide will usually give more minutes to backups or be more "random", where Strictly Follow Depth Chart will usually get you about 40 minutes for your starters, depending on how you set your depth chart.
And yes, it's standard practice to play your subs when you have a big lead, for many reasons.
And while I'm on a roll... Why the hell do players with 4 fouls get benched in the last?? I'd rather my best players foul out than sit on the bench just coz he's got a few fouls
It's standard basketball fundamentals to sit guys when they have 4 fouls. If you're winning, it doesn't matter anyways.
