It's not a bug. The expansion time estimate is, well, an estimate. Sometimes it takes quite a bit longer than the first estimate tells you. I know it can be frustrating, I'm currently waiting for my own expansion to finish. I think it has been delayed at least 3 days so far, but I'm not paying too much attention to the schedule. I guess the construction crew knows this.

Thanks for the reply. I always knew it was an estimate but waiting this long for me is rare, all my expansions have been done on the day they were meant to.

Being on time is rarity in my experience. Typically for me it is 3-4 days longer than originally projected.

Maybe the work crew got a little bit lazy. It is an estimate after all and anything can happen, maybe they had to backorder the seats or maybe the plane carrying the seats to you crashed in the ocean.

The real question to ask here is why are you only building 10 seats at a time?

i'm pretty sure it IS about the estimate. i don't see how it could be anything other than estimate +/- a random multiplier. It sounds like you just hit the high end this time.

"If you really, desperately need your arena expansion ready in 10 days, you should probably not trust a 10 day estimate from the construction crew."

is arena expansion just always random? I thought it would take the same amount of time to build the same number of seats every time.

There is a random element. It won't take the same time every time.

Building smaller amounts guarantees I get those seats for the next home game.

It doesn't quite guarantee that, but you have a good chance if you target a small expansion.

I know what you meant. I just don't see any reason to think that the same amount of seats always completes in the exact same amount of actual days.
