I got 3.5 for winning the last year's finalist and currently 2. in the league at home by 5 points. Not that much actually. As a fan I would have been very happy and gave at least 4-4.5 balls. Fans don't appreciate tight and exciting games and winning in clutch so much. They like blowouts:S

So they only like blowouts, and hate losing regardless of the final score? That would mean that the only thing that is taken into consideration is the final result of the game..if you win big great, if you win by a few points pretty good, if you lose you suck.

That seems like something that could be vastly improved IMO.

If this is not the case, it would be interesting to know, at least in general, what other aspects are taken into consideration, so we can at least try to make some sense of these fan reactions.

I have to agree that the fan survey is an area in which the programming could use some major improvements. I rarely look at mine anymore.

ps- Why did you take it easy? If I were a fan and you lost by four because your guys were taking half court hook shots during warmups and texting instead of boxing out, I'd 1.5ball you too!

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Well, he took it easy too, so both teams were taking half court shots during warmups.. ;)

I guess that complaining helps...

Today my fan response for the game is 2.5 balls. ;)

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Everything you say makes total sense,
however,
perhaps your fans DID watch the game and...
were not impressed with your team's take it easy attitude
maybe they were thinking if you put in a little more effort, you would have pulled off a big upset!
They would not be wrong.
Bottom line, your team took it easy and lost a close one.

You realize you responded to a 3 year old post right?
