Thomas Lesur Retires
Thomas Lesur
(2677611) was waived today for retirement. Age does matter in basketball as the 37 yrs. old Point Guard from France finally decided to hang up his snickers after a year in the bench. It was a hard decision for the team, which Lesur and the Gators discuss for weeks. Lesur didn't played his best years with the Gators. In Season 10, He averaged 15.3 points, 5 assists, 3 rebs, and a steal for a French team. In season 11, he was acquired by the Gators to help them in the Point Guard spot. He played for 2 seasons with the Gators helping them to reach the Finals in each of those seasons. He averaged 7.5 points and 3 assists for 2 seasons while sitting in his final year. His remarkable plays in their first Final appearance was unforgettable as he helped the team forced a Game 3 against their rival Brgy. Ginebra Ginkings. "
I may no longer be a basketball player for the team(Gators) if they win the championship today", Lesur said, "
But I will always remember basketball as a fan of Thumbfries Chickengator." Last edited by PH-Yow at 7/31/2010 8:29:34 AM
