That makkes me very very happy. Will he be tired in 3rd quarter, 4th? When will i start noticing his team falling apart?

If his players have good skills and especially high stamina, then you could be in for a surprise.
If not, you will notice that his players will perform poor in all quarters. And noticeable difference will be seen in the 3rd and 4th.

He's right, players with high stamina will perform better, but overall you will see your opponent tired. You will (probably) notice that you'll commit a lot of turnovers in the beginning and then less and less turnovers as the game goes on
