If the other teams in your league are inactive, that means they won't draft the best players. This gives you a chance to get three excellent draft picks if you scout even if you are winning your division. If you are able to get a couple excellent draft picks, it doesn't matter if you already have trainees. It is up to you whether you want to train your draft picks, but if you don't you can always sell them on the transfer list for a great price, and if you scout while most of your league is inactive, you can get players that are worth a lot more than the money you spend on scouting.

When there is a lot of inactive teams in your league i would be investing as much as you can afford in scouting, especially if your near the bottom of the standings.

well how much exactly should i invest on scouting? i only have 100,000+ left after i bought a player for nearly 300,000! but rite now im investing 5000. should i go 10,000?

Well its $5000 more a week which isn't that much to me. If i was in a similar position i would be investing more. I don't know how much money you make a week but $5000 more should be affordable.

yea i guess im just being too thrifty ill go 10,000 then
