No. I think he will be capped before then. I would only train OD until he caps.

Train OD first, and follow up with one on one until he caps. No JS training for him, one on one will take care of that already.

or, train his OD as far as you can. He's no driving SG anyway, with his Inside Shot...

Thanks for the advice to both of you. I agree, if I have to choose between better OD or JS, I'd probably go with OD.
One thing always bothered me though: how are Driving and Inside Shot correlated at all? My best trainee has proficient DR and pitiful IS and lately he's been improving in % of 2fg, despite of only awful JR (JS is strong). I play a lot of Look Inside and he's driving a lot.

On the other hand, somewhere I catched a theory that Handling improves shooting a bit because a player with good handling can set-up his shot better. Before I heard that, I thought handling was only to prevent turnovers...however, if this theory is true, that's why i want my 6th man trainee to train One on one.

I see what you mean. Now, there's still mid-range jumpers which give you 2's which aren't accounted for by the Inside shot, so that explains some of the 2s.

Handling will pop a little due to the PD training anyway. If you're very concerned about it, train Handling up to average before starting the OD training.
