Teams are ranked by win/loss record first, with point differential as the tiebreaker. Team A will get the first pick.

Wouldn't Team B get the first pick...since it has a lower point differential (meaning it is the worse team)?

It would be ranked lower in the standings.

Another draft pick standing question.

I'm in a league where one conference (mine) sucks in terms of depth. I'll probably make the playoffs at .500. There will be teams in the other conference who miss the playoffs, but ought to be 12-10 or so, with a better record than me. I was wondering if I'll have a higher draft pick than them, based on having a worse record, or whether making/missing the playoffs trumps regular season records.

you will have higher draft pick. it's not important if you are in playoffs or not. it's only maters the score of wins and loses.
