Suggestion 3 is possibly the worst I have ever seen here.

I'll go through them all.

1) In the NBA the teams with the best records don't pick the lineups. But maybe it would make sense to let them pick the tactics.

2) IF IF IF you were going to let managers pick players they should pick reserves only and max 1 per team.

3) Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

4) A slam dunk contest and rookie game have been discussed before and both are possible but a really low priority.

5) The GE is a bit silly but so is the real all star game. More important things to do.

4. The rookie game could be difficult in some leagues, i think in many top division there are no playing rookies outside the cup and maybe 2-3 forfeit game in the league(and even those one are rare)

I agree with that but the original suggestion was just for a bit of fun.

There have been two ways suggested: The "rookies" would be any player aged 18 or 19 and the "sophmores" would be any player aged 20-21. As always this would be a smashing for the sophmores.

If it was to be Big 8 against Great 8 then again it would be any player aged 21 or under.

I think even in the top leagues there must be players aged 21 or under who are playing, at that age you can have a salary in the $50,000 range or even more.

But the important thing is it should be listed in the player's history. 99% of teams have no-one that has played for their NT but can have many players who have apperaed in All-Star games.

Even though I know it's totally meaningless, I think a rookie game would be great if it could be programmed! It would be a fantastic thing for the managers who are sacrificing the occasional or a point differential boost for the sake of training up a rookie to see their rookie(s) take center stage in an all-star sort of game. But this should be for first- and second-year players only, or maybe make it a 19-and-under game.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
