Ok there are possibly many reasons for such a difference I don't think you can judge the balance of the tactics based on the whole 2 games you have experienced.

Your second game was a scrimmage and the other player could have put inside players with no outside defense just to get minutes (to sustain form)
Your first game was in playoffs and it is likely that the other team had set up properly and your outside scorers were not up to beat his defenders.

You have to also look at the defensive strategies you played against. In the first game they played a balanced Man to Man defense. In the second game the team went tactically opposite to what you were playing. They played 2-3 Zone (increased inside defense) and you played Motion (outside attack).

Like I said there are many factors that can change a games box score you cannot presume that it is just one tactical order that makes the difference.

That is fair. I wasn't assuming. Just wanted to bring it up, in case others have mentioned it in the past. That's all.

I'd agree with what has been said already...

also.. its a balance between giving you guys the sense that you are controlling the game and that tactics matter and staying in a reasonable parameter range that it looks like basketball.
