I agree that the young players will likely never sell for more even when completely trained. 4 million is more than 90% of players on most teams are worth. My team for example has one player worth over 4 million, and I have single position trained him for 6 full seasons. A Canadian National Team player just sold for 1.3 million and some 18 year old draft picks are selling for triple that, Pretty sad...I guess the option is to tank for a bunch of seasons and hope that I get lucky enough to draft a stud that can be sold for ridiculous amounts.

BB's should address this I just don't know how?

Since several people are ready to pay that price for these players, I don't see where is the problem...
I think it's too high of course, but let them ruin themselves...

You'll see the problem when a team in your division will have 4 m gratis

I guess I will! ;)
What I meant is that... even if it's a problem, if it's the value given by a lot of manager, then it's the true value of these players, and doing something against it would be abusing of the rule of overbidding.

Hell no,because this does not have sense. The price of a player had to be compared to the overall market, because at this point a manager that was punished with a TPA could ask"Why do you punish me?Also a player with all atrocious skills can worth 5 M if someone is so crazy that want to offer me this kind of money"

Why doesn't it make sense if many managers are willing to pay some millions to buy a great prospect? If there is a bidwar for the best 18yo after draft and people are willing to pay 3+ millions to get a player with MVP+ Potential and high starting skills than thats fine, but I doubt that there are many who would pay anything to get an all atrocious player ;)

Well I didn't follow the market this season as much as last season (I bought an american SF prospect for over 1.8 Million ... there were quite a lot which where more expensive) and there were 18yo who were sold for around 3 millions ( I think he (18235389) was the most expensive 18yo last season)

I think Grubbs would have been a lot more expensive if his outside skills (especially Outside Defense) were better

Wow, that team that has him right now is a total farm team. Does nothing but sit in D.V with random D.IV promotions with a roster full of scrubs and trainees. Keeps its cash supply up with low salary and selling off of trainees when they become unmanageable in salary. That's why they were able to afford him.
